August 1982, Hannu Mikkola took 1st with Stig Blomqvist just behind in 2nd at the 1000 Lakes Rally in Finland.
Mid November, Hannu Mikkola takes victory at the Lombard RAC Rally with Michele Mouton taking 2nd place.
