In the Swedish 1982 World Rally Championship, Stig Blomqvist came 1st in the Quattro. Michele Mouton hit a stationary Hannu Mikkola off the course, which resulted in Mouton finishing 5th and Mikkola 16th. Ericsson Mikael was 10th in an Audi Coupe GT.
May 1982 was the Acropolis Rally in Greece, where Michele Mouton and co-driver Fabrizia Pons came 1st in the Quattro.
