In the 1982 Monte Carlo Rally, Hannu Mikkola won 2nd place in the Audi Quattro. Michele Mouton unfortunately retired due to an accident. March 1982 was Rallye De Portugal in which Michele Mouton won and Franz Wittmann was 3rd, both in Audi Quattros.
