Audi S2 driver Phil Short has been putting his car through it’s paces over the May bank holiday weekend. He was competing at the Olivers Mount Hillclimb Scarborough and came 2nd in his class for road modified cars over 2000cc. Phil’s day job is with the Ford WRC team and he travels all over the world attending the seasons events. He has to fit in his own motor sporting activities around the WRC calendar.

These pictures show Phil at Harewood Hillclimb during April where he also came 2nd in his class.

Harewood Hill nr Leeds is the longest hill climb course in the UK. The first event took place on 16th September 1962. The S2 is seen here negotiating Farm House bend.
