Stig Blomqvist wins the RAC Rally in a David Sutton prepared Audi Quattro.
Audi wins both the drivers’ and manufacturers title with Stig Blomqvist. The team take 1st 2nd and 3rd in the Monte Carlo Rally. Walter Rohrl driving the winning car. This was Audis most successful year rallying.
